All Generation8 templates include an optional 'scroller' component. It's pre-designed with the surround graphics, so just a matter of copying the scroller, and pasting into your web pages.

To 'edit' the scroller, just open the (Site/scroller) folder then open and edit the 'news_scroller.htm' page as you would edit and update any web page.


How to add the "optional" scroller to a web page:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. open your website with your web editor
2. open the (Site / content_boxes) folder
3. open the (content_box_scroller.htm) page
4. press (CTRL+A) to [b]Select All[/b]
5. press (CTRL+C) to [b]Copy[/b]
6. open the web page you would like to paste the scroller into
7. click on the area of the page you want to insert the scroller

**note** you may need to create a 'space' to insert the scroller, to create blank space you can click on a blank area of the page and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard, OR, you can click on an existing component or existing content box ( place your cursor inside an existing content box, then using the 'quick tag selector' at the top or bottom of the design window, select <div.content4_wrapper> ) THEN immediately press the 'right' arrow key on you keyboard, then immediately press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard. This will first select a component or box, then move the 'focus' to the right, then 'below' when you press the enter key.

8. press (CTRL+V) to paste the scroller
