Overview

The bookmark icon uses an external javascript file to complete the process of bookmarking the page in the browser. For IE visitors clicking on the bookmark button will invoke the Browsers 'ADD to FAVORITES' menu. For Firefox mozilla browsers, a small popup will open asking the visitor to 'confirm' they want to add this page to their bookmarks.

You can change the hyperlink, which converts the bookmark to a regular image with a hyperlink.

Open the ( Library / contact_bookmark) page

right click on the BOOKMARK us icon, select Hyperlink properties...or use the Properties window and target a new page.

** IMPORTANT NOTE ** when testing your web pages on a local computer, the BOOKMARK function will not work. The site must be on a LIVE internet server for the BOOKMARK icon to work. If you host your own web server, and test the site from the same physical computer, same result. You would need to test from a different physical computer.
