CRITICAL: Folder location and level. The most common issue with defining a new site in DW is defining the incorrect folder. When you are defining your ( web ) folder, make sure you see the following folders in the main window: Library There may be additional folders such as the "optional" folder, but this folder is not included in all packages. The other 3 folders are in all DW packages. The 'web' folder name should be in the Select Window at the top, and listed at the bottom "Select:xxxxxx_web_C" CRITICAL Preference setup This template uses the latest 'flash' coding provided by Adobe Systems. The flash coding may prompt a warning. Do NOT allow Dreamweaver to convert the flash scripting. Instead, change your DW prefereneces so this warning will not be displayed. To EDIT PREFERENCES: 1. click on the (Edit)
menu Code Rewriting 4. UN-CHECK the last option Convert tags to scripts on file open 5. click the OK button
