This chapter covers the basic components of a website template. After finishing this chapter, you should be familiar
enough with the website template product to begin editing pages. More indepth and detailed information, about editing specific components, is available
in "Phase 2: Working with your product".
All website templates are NOT created equal.
Each website template company has a different set of standards they follow. Having said that, our own design and development standards have evolved over
time. What may have been a "cutting edge" way of doing something back in 2001 may be completely out of date in our newer templates.
There are many common elements to all website templates though. This chapter will cover the basics of what you need to know to begin editing web pages
included with your website template.
