"Making a backup of your website"

Overview
This chapter covers the common questions and procedures for making a backup copy of your website.
ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP
If you wish to backup your LOCAL copy of your website
Go to "My Computer" (Shortcut Command: WINDOWS KEY + E)
Find your "website" folder on your C: drive
Right click on the website folder
Select "Send To", then "Compressed (zip) folder"
This will have made a .zip file in the folder that the "website" folder was in.
Rename the file with the date, just for clarification Example: website_oct22_2003.zip
Copy the .zip file onto a CD for safe keeping.
If you wish to backup your LIVE/REMOTE copy of your website to your local computer, choose which web editor you are using
