"Backing Up" your LIVE website using Dreamweaver
With your website open in Dreamweaver:
In the "Files" panel, select the top folder in the list which should start with the word "Site"
Click the green "Down" arrow just above the top folder in the toolbar (this is the "Get" button)
When asked if you want to "GET" your entire site, click "Okay"
If asked if you wish to GET all "Dependant" files, click "No" (this is a redundant operation when you are publishing the entire site and can drastically increase the time it takes to publish your site up)
