Untitled Document
Using the FlexWare Photo Gallery product for Expression Web is supposed to be straight forward and intuitive. Having said that, we have built the product so that
there wasn't a need for an excessive amount of documentation.
Inserting a Photo Gallery into a Page
- Place your cursor in the page where you want the photo gallery to be displayed
- Select the "Tools" menu, then "FlexWare", then "Photo Gallery" then "Install Photo Gallery"
- If you installed to the default location to your computer as specified by the installer then it will transfer the photogallery files into your website
If you installed it to a different location, then a dialog window will open up, browse in to the location "Lucky Marble/FlexWare Photo Gallery/Starter Package" folder in your program files drive and double click on the .inf file in that folder.
- You should now have a "photo-gallery" folder contained within your website. Select it. Hit F5 on yoru keyboard.
- You should notice a number of files and folders contained within the "photo-gallery" folder. If these files exist, then you're done. If not, then proceed to the next step.
- Using Windows Explorer (WindowsKey-E) in to your "Program Files/Lucky Marble/FlexWare Photo Gallery/Starter Package" folder, select all the files (CTRL-A), then Copy them (CTRL-V)
- In Expression Web, open up the "photo-gallery" folder, and then paste the files (CTRL-V)
- Hit F5. You're done.
Editing a Photo Gallery
- Select the "white box" that was inserted into the page.
- Select the "Tools" menu, then "FlexWare", then "Photo Gallery" then "Edit Photo Gallery"
- A dialog window will open
- Make your changes
- Click the Save button
